The objective of the Project is to support the implementation of a long-term development plan for the public healthcare infrastructure in the region of Kujawsko-Pomorskie, in the scope of its modernisation, improvement, development, and providing equipment for the five hospitals located in the area of Bydgoszcz, Włocławek and Świecie, for which the founding body is Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province.
The Project aims to support the implementation of a long-term development plan for the public healthcare infrastructure in Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province. It is a continuation of the programme already initiated in 2007, which resulted in carrying out the investments included in the Development and Modernisation Investment Programme carried out in Provincial Hospitals in the years 2009-2016.
The Programme is supported by the European Investment Bank. A larger portion of the Programme shall also be financed with the funds obtained from the Regional Operational Programme for Kujawsko-Pomorskie for the years 2014-2020.

In Bydgoszcz:
The Kuyavian and Pomeranian Pulmonology Centre – purchases of equipment and fittings, thermal insulation improvement, expansion of the hospital, modernisation and upward extension of segment C;
The Josef Brudzinski Provincial Children’s Hospital – purchases of equipment and fittings;
The Tadeusz Browicz Provincial Hospital for Infectious Diseases and Observation in Bydgoszcz – expansion and upward extension of Building B, and its thermal insulation improvement; providing equipment for the Endoscopy Laboratory, adapting the rooms on the ground floor of Building C to operate as the Intensive Care and Anaesthesiology Ward, and providing the necessary equipment.
In Świecie:
The Josef Bednarz Specialist Psychiatric Hospital – purchases of equipment and modernisation of successive buildings (5 and 6); thermal insulation improvement in the buildings and modernisation of the sewage system, telecom + IT network, and power network.
In Włocławek:
The Blessed Father Jerzy Popieluszko Provincial Specialist Hospital – modernisation and adaptation of buildings 9, 7, and 12; extension of the hospital complex, including access roads, car parks, and green architecture, as well as providing equipment for the entire hospital.
